PRIVACY POLICY - TERMS & CONDITIONS

We take privacy and data protection very seriously. We adhere to UK data protection legislation (GDPR). I am registered with the ICO (Information Commissioner’s Office) whose role is to protect data privacy for individuals. 

 

Before your first treatment I will arrange a consultation to discuss details about yourself, including your full address and general health and wellbeing. I will record notes and ask you to confirm that I have recorded the details correctly. I will also record notes after subsequent treatments, e.g. the essential oils used and massage observations, such as where I noted areas of muscle tension. 

 

The purpose of my questions and the notes I take is to help me give you the best and safest treatment. The responses you give will help me choose the essential oils, base oils and massage approach to best meet your requirements. 

 

Please be assured that clients’ notes are totally confidential; I store them on a password-protected computer and I do not share them with anyone else. Any paper notes are in secured storage which no one else has access to. On the rare occasion when it might be appropriate to share your notes with a third party, such as a medical practitioner, I will only do so with your signed permission. You have the right to see your notes at any time - just ask me. Legally I need to keep client records for a minimum of 7 years, sometimes longer (see ICO for exceptions). If you are no longer seeing me for treatments after this period I will destroy them. 

 

If you have given permission to be on my mailing list you will receive occasional messages from me, sent via Mail Chimp which also conforms to GDPR legislation. You can unsubscribe from my mailing list at any time. This does not affect me contacting you personally regarding appointments or similar, which I will do when needed.

Ordering

Please place orders through our secure shopping site.

 

Online Security
In order to protect your card information, all online financial transactions are conducted via our secure online processing partner StripeConnect. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or email us at carey@kloo.uk

 

Ordering on the Web
When you click on the proceed button at the end of the online order process, you are confirming your order. You will then be sent an acknowledgement giving a payment reference, an order number (which you should keep for your records) and the amount that has been debited to your credit or debit card, or Paypal account. This Order Acknowledgement is not an Order Acceptance from KLOO. The acceptance of your order takes place with despatch to you of the goods you have ordered, unless we let you know of any changes or you let us know that you wish to cancel it. Your order is accepted at the discretion of KLOO.

 

Please check carefully that the billing details and shipping details you have supplied are correct, since we are unable to offer refunds for orders either lost or delivered to the wrong address due to an error on your part.

 

Pricing
The prices indicated for each product are exclusive of shipping charges (see below). Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices, otherwise, in the case of any unexpected change in price, you will be informed and asked if you wish to reconsider your order before proceeding. Shipping charges will be added to your order once you reach the checkout stage, since they depend on package weight and destination.

 

Delivery & Shipping
We process orders within 3-5 working days. A shipping charge will be added to your order; this is calculated automatically and is based on the weight and destination of your order. We use the published First Class (UK), International Airmail (outside UK) rates directly from the Royal Mail (or courier) plus UK sales tax (refunded for most export orders) and a small charge to cover packaging costs. Out of Stock Items
If an item that you have ordered is temporarily out of stock we will contact you with an indication as to when you are likely to receive it and/or offer you an alternative or a refund.

 

Damaged / Incorrect Goods
If you receive an order, where the bottle has leaked, been broken, was not the correct product, or otherwise un-useable, please contact us immediately (via email or phone). In circumstances like this, we will correct the mistake as soon as possible to your satisfaction.

 

Defective Products 
We offer a 14 day money back guarantee on defective items in their original packaging. Returns must be received by KLOO within 5 working days of the original order to qualify for this guarantee. 

 

Payment
We accept payment by any major credit or debit card (except Diners Club, American Express). All credit/debit card transactions will be subject to validation checks and authorisation by your card issuer. We also accept payment by Paypal.

 
All goods supplied by us remain the property of KLOO until paid in full.

 

Cancelling Recent Orders

If you cancel your order before we have shipped it out, we will refund you in full.

Our process from receiving your order to time of shipment is usually 24 hours. If you made a mistake in your order, let us know immediately, so we can correct your order before shipping.

 

Custom Products
All sales are FINAL on custom blends (including but not limited to creams, oils, sprays, inhalers, scrubs, bath salts, etc)

 

Returns and Refunds
In case you need to exchange or return something that you ordered, please contact us by telephone or email within 24 hours of receipt of your order. If you change your mind, you may return it to us within 24 hours, as long as it is unopened and you have notified KLOO of the return. In this case the shipping cost will be at your own expense; if there was an error on our part of course we will refund your shipping costs. All returned items must be in the condition we sent them out.

Integrity of KLOO Website Information
We take all reasonable care to ensure that all information on the website regarding details, descriptions and pricing is correct. We aim to keep the website up to date, but it is possible that some of the product details will be subject to change. This could be due to poor harvests of certain crops resulting in limited availability, or supplies of the same product being obtained from a different country. Should this occur, we will notify you when we receive your order.

 

Limitation of Liability and Warranty
You, as a customer, agree that the use of this website is entirely at your own risk. Services and products are provided ‘as is’, without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranty for information, services, uninterrupted access, or products provided through or in connection with the service. Specifically we disclaim any and all warranties, including without limitation: 1) any warranties concerning the availability, accuracy or content of information, products or services; and 2) any warranties of title or warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

 

KLOO accepts no liability for any harm caused by the improper use of the products sold on this site, or any negative consequences experienced from use of the information on this site. If you use this site you are accepting full liability and are indemnifying KLOO against any claim.

 

Neither the service nor any of its agents, affiliates or content providers shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of its use of the service or inability to gain access to or use the service or out of any breach of any warranty. Customer hereby acknowledges that the provisions of this section shall apply to all content on this website.
